Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Washington
~~~We are camping in Paradise,, well, Paradise with rain, but the rain is what makes it Paradise ! We are having a wonderful time. Friends, family, fishing, fun, food, camp fire....and tonight is Fry Night ! Everyone has brought something to fry in deep fat for dinner ! This should be very, very good and very , very unhealthy for us. Can't wait!
In June 2016 we sold Cedar Pond and moved over the mountains and far away. We now live in Deer Park , WA where the weather is a bit more extreme than Cedar Pond's and in spite of the challenges we're rejoicing in life in our new home with field and forest just outside our back door. God is so good to us !
I am truly honored you have read my blog and taken time to leave a few words about it. I read all the comments, and often answer them here in the comments page.~ Thank-you ! Oh how beautiful! It looks like some enchanted forest. And those ferns are huge!
ReplyDeleteYou have to tell us all about "fry-night". Sounds delicious!
That looks like so much fun. I'm getting hungry just thinking about fry night! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you took pictures of the fried food!
ReplyDeleteOH, that looks wonderful! I can almost smell the forest and the campfire.
ReplyDeleteI always get hungry when I come over here. :-)
Just loved reading this. It reminds me of the time when our children were small and we went camping for the first time. We had such fun! Fry-night sounds delicious! blessings, Kathleen
ReplyDeleteWe're back !Fry night was delicious, and we had a quite a variety. I am thinking Lanny will describe fry night in her blog( It's The Dirt ) since Dirt and Lanny hosted the grand fry in at their camp site. But I do have pictures !
ReplyDeleteThe forest is too beautiful for words and pictures to describe.There ARE parts of the forest that look enchanted,and feel that way too! Some parts of the forest look like the setting for a dinosaur movie...huge prehistoric plants, 'Devil's Club' . KathyB.
