Here is a long picture looking all the way from one end of the room to the other, full of family that love Kaare.
Happy Birthday Kaare, and may God grant you many more to be occupied with the gladness of your heart!
In June 2016 we sold Cedar Pond and moved over the mountains and far away. We now live in Deer Park , WA where the weather is a bit more extreme than Cedar Pond's and in spite of the challenges we're rejoicing in life in our new home with field and forest just outside our back door. God is so good to us !
A kind word lifts my heart,a humorous word makes the day lighter,a word of wisdom gives me perspective,thank-you for your comments. I am truly honored you have read my blog and taken time to leave a few words about it. I read all the comments, and often answer them here in the comments page.~ Thank-you ! What a special celebration. Lovely to see these happy pictures of the family.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your brother-in-law, Kathy. It sounds like he (and his family) have extra reasons to celebrate this time around. I love the "gladness of his heart" quote from Ecclesiastes.
ReplyDeleteWonderful captures of last night's enjoyment. Love ya Kathy!

ReplyDeleteDear Kathy,
ReplyDeleteGreat reminders from Ecclesiastes to rejoice in the goodness of God! How fitting, to see your family, celebrate together and in honor of your brother-in-law's very special birthday! What a wonderful way to give glory to God who is the source of the richness of life!

Kathy..I am honored that you have chosen to follow my blog. I'm afraid I don't put lots of time into it as I should. It can be very time consuming, as you probably know. I am still sort of feeling my way about in the blogging world and have much to learn.
ReplyDeleteIt will be a pleasure getting to know you.
P.S. I also wanted to comment on your post and the photo's of you and your husband with your family that you have on your sidebar.
ReplyDeleteEveryone looks so happy! There are many things that impressed me from just the little I have been able to read so far..mostly that you are such a loving wife and mother and grandmother. Those are the things that are dearest in my life as well. I have learned to value every moment with my husband, family and friends.
You made a comment about that very thing in your post and I loved it.
I hope to see you again soon.
Have a wonderful Monday..
Mona
