Keeping My Teeth Can Be A Real Pain

This granddaughter is very happy about losing her pretty little front baby teeth. She was rewarded nicely by the Tooth Fairy and is looking forward to her shiny new "grown-up" teeth. I am recovering from dental work done today to hopefully save my "grown-up" teeth and the Tooth Fairy didn't even give me pain pills. OUCH ! My mouth hurts, keeping our teeth can be a real pain.     Yeah, I agree, they are more valuable than diamonds! How come I didn't get a tooth ring for my wedding?!

    I feel for you..... dental work is no fun and expensive too, but...... our teeth are more valuable than diamonds...so true.

    I remember those days! My Dad used to pull mine and my sister's teeth in our living room. Hugs and prayers for a easy and fast recovery.

    Ha! This is so true! I won't even say how many years it has been since I have seen a dentist. No insurance means no dentist visits. So, I floss nightly and brush at least 2x's a day...preventative medicine!

    Yes, they are valuable! I am missing and few and the fake ones are pretty annoying! Hope you are feeling better. Your granddaughter looks adorable and she's RICH!

    I must agree about how important it is to keep one's teeth! After difficult pregancies when I was young and inheriting a tendancy to get cavities, I've spent a fortune of my teeth! Seems like whenever I might have a little extra to buy new furniture or appliances or new tile for the kitchen, something happens to my teeth and there it goes!
    Your little granddaughter is precious!

    Especially if ya have some crowns! I have nine of 'em. Before I retired from Special Ed. this Ozark Farm Chick spent her new car money on my teeth. Dentist got the new rig! Heeehehe!

    and i should know, i only have four or five of my God given teeth left. it runs in the family. but i've adapted fine to the alternative although they do come off sometimes and the whole familt gets a laugh out of that as you can imagine.

    i am preparing a package for you at long last. i have saved your padded envelope forever to have your address. all in God's time I gather.

    love you very very very much beautiful woman and that's an understatment as tears come to my eyes. you have no idea how i realte to you.

    Losing a tooth is a lot easier when we're young. I hope granddaughter willl be as perky in the future as she is now. Most of us adults react with a big ouch!!

    She's still cute even without the two front teeth, and quite obviously happy with the Tooth Fairy’s reward. Too bad it isn’t the same for grown-ups. Our “Tooth Fairy” can only give us painkillers, and it isn’t even enough sometimes. I hope that dental work was able to save your teeth.
