We were away this past weekend enjoying time with our sons and their families. Above is a photo of our youngest son leading his horses bearing two precious fair maidens. We had a wonderful time and I am constantly reminded of the blessings God has showered upon us.The true riches and treasures of my life are the loved ones who delight in spending time and sharing their lives with us.I think I need a bigger jewelry box! "Rejoice always." I Thessalonians 5:16
In June 2016 we sold Cedar Pond and moved over the mountains and far away. We now live in Deer Park , WA where the weather is a bit more extreme than Cedar Pond's and in spite of the challenges we're rejoicing in life in our new home with field and forest just outside our back door. God is so good to us !

I am truly honored you have read my blog and taken time to leave a few words about it. I read all the comments, and often answer them here in the comments page.~ Thank-you ! ReplyDeletePraise the Lord for these precious times with your family.
ReplyDeleteKathy, you know what real riches are!
ReplyDeleteWere the girls cold or just so excited? Nice picture - I shake my head and recall all the other times - the prayers and pleas storming the gates of heaven. You ARE blessed and even better - you realize it before it slips away! Life is sweet when we savor it - bitter tasting looking back at shoulda, coulda, wouldas. Breathe it in! Thanks for this posting - reminded me to thank God again for delivering the girls safely.
ReplyDeleteyou DO need a bigger jewelry box
