Soakin' Up The Sunshine Squirrel Style

Look at this squirrel, balanced on the birdhouse in front of our porch. He did not care that I was taking pictures of him washing himself and soaking up the sunshine. Just days later his personal sun-bathing place looked like this...
....brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !

  1. Squirrels!!! He seems perfectly content balanced on your bird house. The snow is pretty; I hope you won't have any more damage to your property. Wishing you a nice weekend.

  4. My little dog Zoe considers it her duty to chase fluffy tailed rodents from our yard - they are nervy little beasts but definitely photogenic.
Warmer here for a couple of days and I'm SO grateful

  6. He looks like a little weather vane sitting there. We've fed these critters so much they are waiting for me on the window sill each morning! Nuisance? Yes. But awfully cute!

  7. Good shots! It's lovely to have those moments when you can stop and watch the antics of the wild life around you.
Isn't the weather changeable this season?

  8. Kathy, do y'all have snow now? Is that unusual? We're having mild weather but I'm not complaining. The "Little House" books said, "when days grow longer, cold grows stronger" so it's coming.
