Tea~Time Tuesday At Cannon Beach

 Teacups bought and enjoyed at Cannon Beach, Oregon where my husband and I spent a few days last week. The teacups are sitting on the balcony railing of our room in Hallmark Inn. Look at this view!
 Here is the little shop in downtown Cannon Beach ( The Buttery) where we bought the two teacups. The shop had many tea items for sale but I restrained myself and purchased just two teacups for my husband and myself.
 I have never seen a gray ( the listing calls it khaki ) teacup before but we like it and it is a masculine sort of teacup / coffee cup. The pink one is mine.
 This is our view from our balcony too. The whole Pacific Ocean stretched out in front of us with Haystack Rock to the left, Tillamook Rock Lighthouse and more rugged rocks to our right. So much to see every day for a few days. Sunsets to enjoy together, meals we prepared in our room, a fireplace to snuggle in front of, and time together. The best way to spend a Tea-Time Tuesday I think.



 My husband & I drank our coffee from these cups while reading and bird-watching.
The Oregon Coast is one of our favorite places and we visit it as often as possible. We especially love Cannon Beach, Lincoln City, Seaside, and Depot Bay. I have more to share about our get-away later , but this is Tea-time Tuesday and it is about the teacups ! I love our new tea / coffee cups and found out this cup comes in turquoise too. I may add to this set soon.

    How lovely that you and your husband could have that little getaway.
    I hope you'll retrace your honeymoon trip steps some day and come up this way - I'd love to introduce you to some of our gardens.

    What a beautiful get away you had. The scenery is divine. The beach and water always invokes a peace. How cute that you bought yourself cups for the occasion. They are so sweet. Pip makes such charming china. Keep on enjoying them and each other.

    I'm not a hot tea drinker (I love to make sun tea, though), but I LOVE these cups! They are so unique! Something I would definitely use. I'm a bird lover, so that may be why. :) Looks like a nice time. :)

    I've been trying to plan a trip to Cannon Beach. How nice that you went and it looks like it wasn't raining.

    Love the stores they have there. I'll have to go into that one the next time I get there.

    Hi Kathy. Gosh, it's been years and years since I had a visit to the Oregon coast. Lovely, lovely. If I had that view I think I'd just sit by the window and stare out at it for the duration of my stay! So nice that you bought those two cups. Now you can always remember. I do that all the time. With cobblestones from my hometown Prague, with masks from Venice and vintage decoy ducks from Quebec. It marks my visits. :) Have a lovely rest of the week and I'll see you again soon.

    Your teacups are so pretty! That is such a beautiful place to take a little vacation. My Dad climbed that rock several times when he was young. But I don't think climbing it allowed now.
