Cheerful, don't you think ?
Speaking of cheerful , how about my frizzled hen ? She's fluffy AND cheerful.
In June 2016 we sold Cedar Pond and moved over the mountains and far away. We now live in Deer Park , WA where the weather is a bit more extreme than Cedar Pond's and in spite of the challenges we're rejoicing in life in our new home with field and forest just outside our back door. God is so good to us !

I've lost a couple of nice cement bunnies to the ravages of winter - after a few years they just crumbled away. At least you could repurpose the birdbath and I like the primroses surrounding the dish of water for the birds.
ReplyDeleteBird baths make lovely planted containers on a pedestal and also a good place for a fairy garden.
So pretty! I bet the birds will enjoy the way you fancied up their bath! :) I love the picture of the hen too.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a great idea! Your hen is gorgeous! Enjoy your time outdoors!
ReplyDeleteNice birdbath makeover! That frizzled hen is amazing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for the bird bath!
ReplyDeleteOh your adorable white frizzle. I had a tiny black bantam frizzle years ago, in my flock. She only lived 5 years bless her, but she left a lasting place in my heart. I have 4 very old bantams, who do not lay many eggs, but are very much treasured and everyone who visits falls in love with them when the pop out of a flower bed !
Love it. Soooo adorable. And the hen is a dazzler! Susan
