In June 2016 we sold Cedar Pond and moved over the mountains and far away. We now live in Deer Park , WA where the weather is a bit more extreme than Cedar Pond's and in spite of the challenges we're rejoicing in life in our new home with field and forest just outside our back door. God is so good to us !

Put Not Your Confidence in Man
I saw this video on YouTube and was reminded of how much I used to take for granted the freedoms we HAD.Please listen to the very end.I fear for our country as never before and also feel extremely betrayed by elected officials. I deleted a lot of what I was going to write and decided these words are all sufficient. "It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man." Psalm 118:8

A kind word lifts my heart,a humorous word makes the day lighter,a word of wisdom gives me perspective,thank-you for your comments. I am truly honored you have read my blog and taken time to leave a few words about it. I read all the comments, and often answer them here in the comments page.~ Thank-you ! ( Because of the enormous amount of spam from anonymous comments I have decided to not accept "anonymous" comments anymore. )
I fell on my face laughing you at your comment on my post this morning. :):) Too funny.
ReplyDeleteI understand that you feel strongly. I pretty much stay away from discussing politics and religion on my blog and really don't comment on other folks' blogs because...it is just too inflamitory and people are already too worked up. Will you accept a hug instead??
Still grinning about your comment. Tooo darned cute.

Even up here, north of the 49th parallel we knew and loved Red Skelton. Wasn't he something?!

Hello Kathy,
ReplyDeleteMay you have a great week-end!
I think this video is awesome. I've watched it before and again. Well watching again and again and hearing what Red says here.
Appreciate your prayers...Monday is approaching and well...waiting to see how this comes out is...difficult.

ReplyDeleteI am sorry about the political thing going on right now. I do also only trust in the Lord. He will take care of us Kathy. Be happy.
