I took these pictures the last time all four of our sons' daughters were here in our home, last thanksgiving. They like to eat chips. The picture above is of our oldest son's oldest daughter and the picture below is of her three little sisters.
Guess what ?!? Until this morning we were unsure if they would be able to stay here for the spring break and summer or if we would be on our knees praying for their continued safety ( which we are so thankful to God for abundantly providing all along ) . The Washington courts decided today, only an hour ago that the little girls are to stay here, in this state, with their Dad, (our oldest son) and his brother( our youngest son) and his wife! We get to share this bounty from God , my husband and I will have these four precious granddaughters the whole week of their spring break! Starting tomorrow~ So you know we will be happily occupied and loving every minute of it!
"O come , let us sing for joy to the Lord ;Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving ; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the Lord is a great God and a King above all gods , in whose hand are the depths of the earth; the peaks of the mountains are His also, the sea is His, for it was he who made it; And His hands formed dry land. Come let us worship and bow down ; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker, for He is our God." Psalm 95:
In June 2016 we sold Cedar Pond and moved over the mountains and far away. We now live in Deer Park , WA where the weather is a bit more extreme than Cedar Pond's and in spite of the challenges we're rejoicing in life in our new home with field and forest just outside our back door. God is so good to us !

A kind word lifts my heart,a humorous word makes the day lighter,a word of wisdom gives me perspective,thank-you for your comments. I am truly honored you have read my blog and taken time to leave a few words about it. I read all the comments, and often answer them here in the comments page.~ Thank-you ! ( Because of the enormous amount of spam from anonymous comments I have decided to not accept "anonymous" comments anymore. )
Jumping for joy here, too, Kathy!!! God is so good! He's protecting those little precious angels! You and your hubby have a wonderful spring break with your little granddaughters! And be sure and post about all their escapades!

ReplyDeleteKathy, I too fear for our country more than ever. I fear for our people. I fear for "in God we trust." I will go no further, for now, but there are some definite oddities and struggles that I feel are going to soon compound in our country.
Wonderful post, especially the warm final photo.
God bless.

ReplyDeleteHallelujah! We are thrilled to hear at least ONE court has gotten something right. Tears and joy here - can hardly wait to see all the fun and joy which will occur for spring break. I'm thinking some cousins might be visiting too? Pictures and sharing are SO appreciated - big sigh of relief!
ReplyDeleteKathy, I wish I were there to dance and sing with you. This is the best news I could hear from any friend right now. God had graciously answered so many prayers regarding the safety and happiness of these 4 little souls. He is our Father in Heaven; He is good! I'm so glad for you and for your family. Peace of mind is a wonderful thing at our age!
