Look at what she made for the fairies from a cardboard box, twigs and leaves, and bits & pieces from my craft room !
I think a fairy is already checking out this little house in the tree.
This granddaughter not only made a pretty pink house, but she made lawn furniture to go with it,
and carefully arranged it for the fairies.
Looks like a fairy is interested in this house too. I hope the fairies move in.
"A child's world is fresh and new and beautiful, full of wonder and excitement. It is our misfortune that for most of us that clear-eyed vision , that true instinct for what is beautiful and awe-inspiring , is dimmed and lost even before we reach adulthood. " Rachel Carson
I always enjoy the posts about your gkids but the fairy tea parties and house building - well they are just right for a summery day. Beautiful imaginations and fueled with the joy only well loved children seem to possess - thank you!
ReplyDeleteI'm still glad to know that there are children who are being allowed, No, Encoraged! to be children. I remember how much fun it was to play like that. It was baby dolls and then Barbies. No Ipods, phones, or handgames for us. We played real games and pretended to have phones. I can't say the youth today are being advantaged by all the things they have.
