"A snowflake is one of God's most fragile creations, but look what they can do when they stick together." Author Unknown
In June 2016 we sold Cedar Pond and moved over the mountains and far away. We now live in Deer Park , WA where the weather is a bit more extreme than Cedar Pond's and in spite of the challenges we're rejoicing in life in our new home with field and forest just outside our back door. God is so good to us !

Good Sunday Morning Kathy, Thank you for sharing these magical scenes from your yard. Reminds me of a Christmas card it's so perfect. Karen woke to snow in Indiana yesterday. Stay warm and cozy and enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteYour spot by the pond is a wonderland under all that snow. Isn't it amazing how some things are hidden by the snow and some things are highlighted? Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHope you are having an awesome day!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

Your pictures are lovely, Kathy. This last spell of snow storms missed us and what we had has melted (which is quite fine with me!). I'm sure there will be more before too long though. Hope you stay warm and have a peaceful day. :)
ReplyDeleteEnoy the snow and stay warm! No moisture here in Texas, just white, dry, dust in the air from the cotton ginning during this time of year. blessings,Kathleen
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful photos!!! Thank you for sharing them!
ReplyDeleteDear Kathy, As I listened to your music by George Winston and viewed the snow, my heart went aaahhhhhh.

Okay, I'll fess up...I feel like grumbling about our snow, but your blog post, along with the scripture, reminds me that snow is also one of God's wonderful gifts.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a great weekend, Kathy.
Snow is beautiful and wonderful especially when it is NOT here in Texas! Like the new header very much - Miss Marple keeping watch over her kingdom.

Ooooh- that is a very beautiful snow, Kathy... the first picture looks like a postcard! And I love the picture of your Hubby's bees all bundled up inside for the winter- I can imagine them saying to each other, "glad we've got all this honey stored up to eat- I would hate to have to get out on a day like today!" haha
ReplyDeletelove the first snowfall that's more than a skiff; yours is beautiful. loved the photos of the girls at T-day; so glad they are growing tall and sturdy with, prayerfully, no ill effects of the past years.
