I'm So Doggone Popular~

I'm so doggone popular and I don't know why.
Children love to adorn me with jewels.
See?
Children love to hug my face and kiss me.
Starry jewels for my head, beads and scarves for my neck, cuddles and kisses !
I am so doggone popular...what's a dog to do?

~"Dogs have given us their absolute all. We are the center of their universe. We are the focus of their love and faith and trust. They serve us in return for scraps. It is without a doubt the best deal man has ever made." Roger Caras

It takes a great dog to put up with that! It really looks like she's saying, "Help me, help!"
:D

Lovely...of both dog and children. God has made the foolish things to confound the wise and me, slobbering all over my dogs, is certainly a foolish thing...except we all enjoy it! -smile-
Blessings on your day, Kathy.

I can see that you have a beloved dog there! We are now contemplating another dog - missing our Rosie and a dog's presence in the house!

Mildred, they are precious to me especially because I love the children and the dog. Thank-you.

Paula, I have 5 other very sweet dogs, but this one is beyond the sweetest and most tolerant of all.

Debbie,You are right- I almost used the word "help" for the end of this post because I think that is really what her demeanor and eyes conveyed to me.She would have tolerated far more, but I do watch out for her. She loves and lives for me.

Sandra,God has blessed human-kind with dogs I think...in spite of what scripture says about dogs. Dogs are often the better friends to humans than humans are to each other...sadly.

Dolores,thank-you. This particular dog and my grandchildren ( not in that order) are very much blessings in my life.

Ebet, I am very interested in Cowboy....and I still miss Ralphy, very much.

Pondsied, I cannot even begin to think about life without a dog around, and Beatrix makes so many other dogs seem unworthy. But if we were to lose her i would seek another dog very soon. I hope if you do there is another dog out there that will fill your life with joy and fun, even if it is not your precious Rosie.

Jennifer, she ( Beatrix) is very much appreciative of attention, especially if her attention to our grandchildren makes ME happy, which it does.Beatrix pretty much lives to please me and I do not know how I ever deserved a dog like her...but I am so thankful for her.

Southern Comfort, she is a very sweet dog, thank-you~

Flower,Beatrix's eyes reflect her love for me and anything I am interested in. She allows the grandchildren I love to cuddle her and deck her with jewels, and hug her and kiss her ,her eyes always seem to show how much she loves being loved, and how much she loves to love...( does this make sense?)

Kathy, thank you so much for my three special gifts. They arrived in the post today. I immediately sat down to look through them and already spotted a wreath I would like to make inspired on one of the photos called offerings. The gazebo, ofcourse, will have to wait.

Dogs and horses are my absolute favorites, well birds are up there too. I once had an alsatian called Sebastian Fellow of Elsworthy after the street we lived on in London. He was more than a brother to me, lived 14 years. It still hurts not to have him around.

Always love to pop by.
