In June 2016 we sold Cedar Pond and moved over the mountains and far away. We now live in Deer Park , WA where the weather is a bit more extreme than Cedar Pond's and in spite of the challenges we're rejoicing in life in our new home with field and forest just outside our back door. God is so good to us !

Good morning, Kathy. I love the view you have. Your home is so very welcoming and your blog pictures have always told the story of how you and your husband truly love to entertain, both family and friends. I love your big table - and through the years, I've seen adults there enjoying one of your husband's special meals, and of course, many tea parties hosted by your granddaughters. Wishing you and your family a blessed New Year!
Hi Kathy - well said, my friend! I so agree. Your home is lovely, inviting and very comfortable. I'd love to come and sit a spell. Since we moved into our farmhouse and everything is old, more relaxed, and often second-hand or antique, we have found that we care much less about messes, spills, dogs, cats, etc. We just try to be hospitable and make our guests feel "at home" and free to move about and relax. Our little farm was truly a gift from God and we try to use it as such. If only I knew now what I didn't know back then... Hindsight, you know.
Love your big picture window. I think that would be MY favorite place, too. Stay cozy! Hope your Christmas was completely wonderful!
Thank you for this post, Kathy!
Your home is so warm and lovely!!!
A real HOME!
Kathy, your home looks very cozy and inviting. I'm sure all who visit there feel loved and welcomed. You have a wonderful view from your windows. :))
The view out your window is so beautiful! I love the warmth your home exudes.......
Thank you Kathy for your sweet comments to me...they lift me up...
Hugs
Your home truly does have a comfortable, cozy and welcoming feel. It would make any guest feel at home. And your view is so pretty. I can see why you love looking out that window.
I feel I would be welcomed in your home. By the way...every time I open your site and see your "wee little sheep" I smile.
A lovely home, soooo cozy! You can easily feel there must be people with warm and loving heats living in it.
What a lovely home and lovely words to go with your pictures. You have achieved your goal. Your home is indeed a welcoming home. No wonder you are so happy there.
Hop over to my Blog today and see what I received for Christmas. I'd welcome your comments on it.
Blessings, Star
Hi Kathy! Your home is beautiful, and very inviting. I can picture it filled with your friends and family with your animals in the midst of the gathering.

I enjoy visiting your lovely warm home every chance I get. I picture myself sitting on your comfortable sofa with a cup of tea in hand and just loving every warm moment of my visit. Walking to the window and looking at that view. Oh MY!!! Happy New Year to you and yours Kathy. Hugs, LJ
