Smile In My Heart !

Ella & Fella, my Sebastopol geese are growing up quickly ,
and are so much fun to watch after I release them from their evening pen every morning.
Ella & Fella hang out with the frilly chickens and some ducks. If you're feeling low and need a smile in your heart, watching silly chickens, fluttering geese, and comical ducks is just the ticket ! If you don't have your own poultry then arm yourself with bread and crackers and head for the nearest duck pond . Quack- quack. ( To see more of my chickens lick here.) *

"O Lord, how many are Thy works ! In wisdom Thou hast made them all; The earth is full of Thy possessions. There is the sea , great and broad, In which are swarms without number, Animals both small and great...They all wait for Thee to give them their food in due season. Thou dost give to them, they gather it up; Thou dost open Thy hand, they are satisfied with good." Psalm 104:24-29

"He has told you ,O man ,what is good ; And what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God ? " Micah 6:8

I'm sure they are very entertaining to watch. I don't think I've ever seen fluffy geese like that before.

I have never seen such beautiful feathers or geese like this before. I can see why you delight in them so! Of course those chickens are sweet too!

Hello Kathy, It's been a while since I last checked in to see what's been going on in your neck of the woods. It's a busier time of year. Yes, geese, ducks, chickens, they too, make me smile and sometimes laugh. Thank you for the time & energy you put into your blog. It is truely a joy and I am still poking around trying to catch up on the past, getting sidetracked by links, etc. I also check on your husband's bee blog as my husband is a bee keeper as well. Keep up the good work and thanks for the smiles. :o)

I love those fluffy, frilly feathers....your girls (and boys?) are gorgeous!

Our daughter is raising 3 chickens in her backyard in town (in Houston) She's getting eggs and loving her chickens so much. I'm very ignorant about foul, but through you and our daughter I'm learning..... lol!

You are so right Kathy. They do bring an instant smile. I took Kaedyn to the duck pond and they made her giggle with their waddle!!

They really are adorable. Through the years, Karen and her children and grandchildren love feeding the ducks.
