I love the silence
of snow here in our little world at Cedar Pond.
Awakened by quiet white silence and glittery powder on a Sunday morning. The silence of new snow.
In June 2016 we sold Cedar Pond and moved over the mountains and far away. We now live in Deer Park , WA where the weather is a bit more extreme than Cedar Pond's and in spite of the challenges we're rejoicing in life in our new home with field and forest just outside our back door. God is so good to us !

Beautiful photos!!! I love snow!
Have a wonderful week!!!
It was beautiful here, too. Since the wee hours this morning, though, it has been raining, and I'm not looking forward to the drive to work.
Great photos and my favorite is the ducks in the snow. Amazing.
Have a great week ~ FlowerLady
Lovely photos, Kathy. It's surprising how quiet everything becomes under a layer of snow.
Kathy, those are among the most beautiful photos I've seen of winter scenes. They are lovely! I listen to XM preaching for 1 hour in the morning and then...nothing the rest of the day. Sometimes I'll watch a movie at night but, mostly, it's always the noise of God's making.
you have such a peaceful, grace-filled view on Cedar Pond...and the sounds of silence are on of life's greatest joy's!
What a beautiful post! I also am in awe of how quiet the woods are when it snows! Stay warm!
That is a lovely 'cat in window' photo, Kathy.
You should definitely put those photos on your digital frame if you're out of wall & side table space! Great photos. It sure is nice to get a really great snow once or twice a year to make it feel like we're experiencing all four seasons in our state instead of just the one where it rains. ;)
We are at the point here where the piles of snow are 4 feet deep, the drifts vary and if goes above 0 we wear lighter jackets. It was 18 degrees yesterday and sunny. It felt warm. Love your pictures!!
What a beautiful place to see. Love your ducks. Happy Valentines Day again!
Blessings to you and may you have a happy valentine's day!

Such lovely photos, Kathy.
Have a blessed day.
Oh - such a lovely, comforting blog you keep, milady. I am joyful to sit and sip a cuppa while taking in the stillness and beauty of your window views amid your sheep and wool. I have favorited your Etsy shop - have you visited mine? Just getting it off the ground with some vintage items and my floral frills by special order. However, in March I will be adding many more items. I do love your little sheep and would like to order some for my Spring vignettes in my dining room. Always a joy to visit with you.
Blessings,
Kathy
How beautiful! The ducks look cold....christine
