This Little Boy Just Loves His Tea !

Remember these little teacups I showed you last week? I have searched and searched the internet for any information on them, but have found none. If anyone can tell me about this little set please do! I bought these for $3.50 in a small crafter's mall. It was in a booth selling doll clothes and anything a bit upscale that would go with dolls. Last Wednesday I had an Alice In Wonderland themed tea party for our daughter's 4 children, my nieces' 2 children and 2 of her nephews. I will show the tea party in my next post, but today I am focusing on these tea cups ( after all, it is Teacup Tuesday ) and the little tea drinker who loved them! This is our youngest grandchild, Little 'J' sipping peppermint tea from the butterfly handled tea cup while his cousin looks on. He did not even take time to stir in sugar, just plain peppermint tea. He is still sipping peppermint tea here. He loved the tea, and gulped it down quickly, handing back the empty tea cup to whomever he could get to refill it.
Do you think he likes the tea?
Here it is later in the day and he is still coming back for tea, making sure his tea is served in these cups! I put out sturdier cups and saucers for the boys, but Little 'J' insisted on drinking his tea out of the dainty butterfly handled teacups with the morning glories gracing the top of the cup and the saucer.
Mo tea ? That is how he asks for more tea.
My little grandson and myself after a fun day . We sit together in the shade while the bigger kids run and play. We sipped more tea together, and ate a few more goodies. This was a great tea party! I think I will always remember this summer as one big tea party. Good times and blessings ~ sharing a cup of tea, with family, friends, and YOU! Thank-you~ Pour yourself a cup of tea, sit back and click onto the names of these ladies to see more teacups and all things tea : Martha* ,Terri* ,Lady Katherine*, & Wanda Lee *. Enjoy! Leave these ladies a comment if you like what you see, they love comments almost as much as they like tea time.

Happy, Happy Boy. Happy, Happy Birthday!

I started blogging 2 years ago while waiting for this little grandson to be born. I was able to be in the delivery room for his birth, and captured this picture of him as he wrapped his whole , teeny, tiny hand around father's finger. He started life with a tight grasp onto his Daddy. His "Dad"! "Close your eyes, have no fear, The monster's gone, he's on the run and your Daddy's here. Beautiful, beautiful , beautiful boy." John Lennon~ This little grandson, our youngest grandchild, has a father and mother to protect him, love him, and cherish him. He is a delight and truly one of the happiest children I know, and I know a LOT of children! His little heart trusts his Mommy & Daddy completely. He knows the love and adoration of an older brother and 2 older sisters. He is loved, well loved. He celebrated his 2nd birthday with his family ( including 2 Grandmas, 1 Grandpa, a Great-grandma & Great-grandpa) present. More important though, he had his Daddy there to hold him and play with him. Yes, he loves pretty much everyone God has placed in his life, but his Daddy and all his Daddy does is very important to him, that, and being with the "guys", his word for his siblings. Little J's Daddy's eyes light up when he sees his youngest son. Little J's Daddy's eyes light up when he sees any of his children. To be one of Daddy's children and see Daddy's face light up when he sees you must be a real joy, and surely makes a little one's heart happy.
Our prayer for him "Hear , O sons, the instruction of a father, and give attention that you may gain understanding. For I give you sound teaching ;...." Proverbs 4:1,2 Little J, God has given you parents to teach you God's ways. You are so blessed, and so are we. I love you little one. Your Mommy's Daddy loves you little one.Happy Birthday!

One Year Ago Today......

One year ago today Little J. was born! I snapped this picture of him grasping his father's hand within the hour of his birth.....I love this picture!
Look at you now!
I remember many things about being there to see you come out into this world. The whole family was joyous.....but your big sister KN could not get enough of you! She hovered over you constantly. Just look at her face. We all love you so much and you are one of the happiest and best- natured little boys I know. We love you Little J.
Happy Birthday Little J, youngest grandchild !
