Froggy Drama & Shameless Plug

I was tidying up my plant potting table which is up against the back of our garage when this little green frog caught my eye. He was creeping down the garage toward the table, and I saw he was after a fat, juicy, flying termite. As the termite settled on the siding this fatter frog jumped out of one of my potted lavender plants. Both frogs were after the termite... The termite was not settling down where the frogs apparently expected it to, and as the termite fluttered upward, the frogs crept up even faster, I could tell they were also racing each other for the termite. Look who caught the termite! You can see the wings are all that is left of the termite to swallow, the frog caught and ate it so fast I could not get my camera focused to get the best action. The little green frog then crept to the down- spout to finish up his meal and probably digest, while the other frog went back to the plants. Now this is my kind of reality show, right here on Cedar Pond!
Now for the shameless plug! I have started a new on-line shop I am excited about and if you get a chance, please check it out. I sell many things made from the fleece of my Jacob Sheep, rugs, yarn, fiber, pincushions, wee little sheep.Created and crafted with love and available for sale as I finish them.

I loved the pictures of the frogs! What a great post! It is interesting how different two frogs in the same garden can look. I am off to check out your shop now!

Yes, Mildred, I have and do accept custom orders.

The frogs were very interesting and the same frogs seem to stick around the same areas. I could probably go outside now and find both of the frogs on the potting table.

Daisy, thank-you~

Jennifer, sometimes the darker frog appears to be blue.I have often thought the same thing about the frogs here, so many, all very different!

Julie, thank-you.

Love this story set in nature. You are so lucky to have all this surrounding you. A paradise for the children too! Will definitely buy one of skeins of wool since I love to knit winter slippers. Blessings Kathy, every second of this day.

Oh, I will be visiting,Kathy --I love all things pertaining to wool and sheep and I saw those wonderful little sheep "C" bought from you last year! I've been coveting them!!! LOL
Seriously, I think it is wonderful for women to pursue marketing of handmade items. There is such an appreciation today of artisan products and the time it takes to make things! I think of the Proverbs 22 woman who was a seller of purple! I do a little rug hooking, but I want to do a LOT of rug hooking for profit! Perhaps my "retirement project"! We shall see. Well, I'm off to visit your shop!

Hi: I am running very late this week. But I just had to stop by and visit your blog and see your tea cups. As usual you did not disappoint. I want to thank you for your continued prayers. I have really needed them. Have a wonderful week. Blessings, Martha

LindaSue, thanks! Yes, I will be selling my wee little sheep. I have some made up already but need to take more time to list them. Thank-you for asking.

Pondside, isn' it fun to play with the grands? I am surprised you didn't take a nap too.

Dolores, there is an amazing variety of frog coloring here, including the red-legged frogs. But the bright green frogs are the prettiest. And thank-you!

Peregrine Blue, the children really do love being here.I don't even have to get out toys for them to have fun, just a walk around the pond and woods, and down our private road to their Great-Uncle & Aunts, and they're so happy! Thank-you for your kind comments, very much.

Stickhorsecowgirls, my little sheep are my biggest sellers at local bazaars. I have quite a few myself to fill in around my Nativity scene. One of these days I am going to write a post about how circular my crafting is.

Martha, you and me both, running late! I love to read and comment on blogs but my daily activities are not allowing much time for that right now and I am tired at night lately.More prayers for you ...
