I'll Fly Away One Day

"He will swallow up death in victory;and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off faces." Isaiah 25:8
"He who believes in the Son has eternal life" John 3:36
"And there is salvation in no one else ; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by that which we must be saved." Acts 4:12 "Truly, truly, I say to you he who believes in me has eternal life." Jesus~ John 6:47
"For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him, may have eternal life; and I Myself will raise him up on the last day." Jesus ~ John 6:40

I'll Fly Away is one of our favorites - viewing death as graduation to glory is so comforting. Your Dad's service is to be admired along with all those who serve honorably - thanks for the sweet post.

Amen! One of my favorite songs, it will now be with me all day today and that's a very good thing. We can never say thank you too many times to those who have served and do serve; may they never be forgotten nor think they serve in vain.

I'm glad I had the sound turned on when I opened your post - I often have it turned off, as some posts have such jarring music. I love that song - beautiful with your photos and words.

Lovely verses and post today, Kathy. One of my favorite hymns is "I'll Fly Away," so even your post title held meaning for me. Happy Sunday to you! :-)
