Ivy Lea

It has been rainy. Very rainy . We have had inches of rain in the past few days. Standing water and mud are everywhere outside . This kind of weather just cries out " stay indoors, have a cup of tea ! ".
So I did, except for the brief bit of weak sunlight that stole through the clouds that brought the downpours took me and my teacup outside on the porch. Since I wanted to share this teacup  today I needed better lighting than the darkness in the house due to the clouds, and pictures taken by lamp-light don't often give a true impression of beautiful china. ( with my camera )
The pattern is Ivy Lea by Royal Albert . I have a sugar bowl and creamer in the same pattern . The ivy intertwined with white flowers is so pretty .
The very best part of beautiful teacups is sipping hot tea from them,
so I did.

I am linking up with these Tuesday Ladies of the Teacup :

What a lovely pattern and what a sweet joy it must be to sip tea from the cup. There's just something about pretty tea cups and saucers that make tea time so much better.

Have a lovely day ~ FlowerLady

Hello Kathy,
That is a lovely ivy tea cup! That green is so fresh. It is a great cup for a gloomy day. Staying indoors with tea sure does seem like the best idea right now : )

Terri

Hi Kathy,
I love your RA Ivy teacup! Green and white is so fresh and pretty. The cream and sugar are very sweet too. I'm especially drawn to the creamer. Hope it dries up soon for you and the sun comes out. We're having perhaps the coldest day of the year today but at least the sun is shining brightly. Thanks for joining me for tea.

Blessings,
Sandi

I have always been a soft touch for green and white. Presently enjoying a spot of tea from the trillium cup you gave me last January. Cheers.
