Lamb season began February 4 this year with the birth of twin lambs to my ewe ,
Cedar Pond's Tovah. I was not expecting lambs so early and am very glad Tovah is a pro at lambing. She found a warm and snug place to have her little ones under cover , chasing all the other ewes away first. When I discovered the lambs she'd already cleaned them up , they were on their feet and trying to nurse.
Lambs are just too cute !
That is a wall of white snow on the other side of the chain link fencing around the lamb pen.
Tovah had a ram ( boy ) lamb and a ewe ( girl) lamb, a perfect set of twins !
Only 15 more ladies- in- waiting left to have lambs.

Cuties for sure! I have another 8 weeks until my first kids arrive seeing little ones make me excited about having littles around. May the lamb and kid races begin.

They are so adorable and look cuddly! Happy first lambs of the season. I bet your 'ladies in waiting' are ready for their births to happen.

So lovely to see your lambs - I wish I had the land and space to have lambs, but unfortunately that's not on the menu. I'm glad to still have my 2 sheep and 1 goat, and that will have to do. I shall enjoy lambs vicariously through your blog. Hope they are staying healthy and doing well!

It's all happening down on your farm Kathy, isn't it! The Jacob sheep? are such fine looking beasts with so much colour in their wool. Good luck with the lambing.
