I can't help but get in the Christmas spirit and mood when I hear Bing Crosby sing...my happy childhood Christmas memories come flooding back and I am ready for all the joys the holiday brings!
In June 2016 we sold Cedar Pond and moved over the mountains and far away. We now live in Deer Park , WA where the weather is a bit more extreme than Cedar Pond's and in spite of the challenges we're rejoicing in life in our new home with field and forest just outside our back door. God is so good to us !

It's Beginning To Feel A Lot Like Christmas!
Now I know the stores have had Christmas items on their shelves since October, and that I have participated in Christmas bazaars since November, and that I have seen Christmas ads in the paper and on T.V. for as long too. But now, just this week I have noticed that in my home and in my heart it is just now beginning to look and feel like Christmas! (sugar & creamer made by me the first year of my marriage)

I love the creamer and sugar you made Kathy. They must evoke many fond memories when you unwrap them each year. I enjoyed hearing Bing Crosby - such a pretty voice and what lovely snow scenes in the video. Enjoy your day.
Your Santas are really cute, Kathy, and hearing Bing's song is always a surefire way to remind me of the season.
Oh Kathy - what a wonderful morning moment you gave us - DH and I sat here and reminisced about the beauty of the MUCH simpler Christmas celebrations of our youth. Kids get so much frantic in their holidays now - but hearing Bing singing and recalling songs like Silver Bells - goodness it was a magical season. I look forward to seeing your Christmas decorating - I recall from last year how special it is!
I'm glad that you are feeling that way, and I love the coffee and creamer. I actually have a large collection of santas that I didn't bring out this year for lack of space. I rotate things. And I love to hear Bing sing too.

You made those? Wow, they are beautiful. They remind me of a little Santa pitcher and cup set I used to have when I was little. You are so talented.
The Santas remind me of cups we use to drink hot chocolate out of when we were little.
How can you not love Christmas music?
My favorite too..Bing and Frank and that whole crew. Your little Santa's are darling..it's comforting to have something down through the years isn't it! Keep the spirit in that sweet heart of yours and enjoy!
Come say hi :D
Your sugar and creamer are so cute. They must be very special to you. I know what you mean about feeling like Christmas. I have just started decorating because I can feel it coming now. I can't get myself to start until I am in the mood. There is nothing like Bing at Christmas. Have a wonderful day!
I gave all my Santa stuff to MIchael and Karla I am now collecting snowmen because the winter is so long and I like to keep up some decorations to keep me happy and wishing for spring. I like your Santas
I feel the same way, Kathy!
Your Santa's are so special--you must enjoy bringing them out each year--I know because I do the same thing and my kids and grandkids look forward to seeing the old decorations each year. Now my daughter is making the same memories with her family! Wonderful that God has instilled in us the ability to take such pleasure in our family memories and traditions!
Blessings to you!
