Here is just one of many wonderful booths at the Christmas Bazaar held here every year at Lacamas Community Center in Roy, Washington. Joyce has so many interesting things for sale and her booth takes awhile to peruse. She usually has something for everyone. ( she did NOT pay me to say this either)
Santa let me sit on his lap! You know though, Santa had a few other ladies sit on his lap too ~ I'm not so sure I will ask Santa to help out next year! ( just kidding, I am sitting in my booth very close to Santa you know)
The fearless volunteers of Lacamas Community Center manning the kitchen where they sell and serve breakfast , lunch, and yummy snacks to the Christmas shoppers and vendors. Ken Wilson ( far right) fries the eggs and burgers to suit the requests of customers, his wife Pam ( far left) is also here as all around person in charge of the kitchen and many, many other volunteer activities that make Lacamas Community Center a hub-bub of activity year round.
If you're in the area come on out to Lacamas today and see the many wonderful items for sale from people in our community. Have breakfast or lunch, have your picture taken with Santa and buy a $1.00 raffle ticket for a chance to win a handmade quilt crafted and sewn by women in our community.Visit with me too, I'd love to meet you.

How I wish I could visit with you at the Christmas Bazaar Kathy! I know you have been busy preparing for this event. I hope the weather was cooperative and that the turn out has been good. It's nice to have "Santa" as a friend!!! Thanks for sharing the fun photos.
I absolutely LOVE the Cameron quote; OH HOW TRUE! Santa is a good feller; I don't want to sit on his lap but he could listen to the Eartha Kitt song and follow suit -grin-.

Oh I wish we were in the area for your community event - that Santa looks like a good guy - and he does have to give equal time but only has ONE special close lady friend. Delightful post -
Kathy I know I've probably mentioned this before, but my daughter and I used to make prims and woodwork decor and set up our tent or crates in many craft shows in 2004-2005. We miss is so much that we think we'll try it again next year. We went to Henry, Il yesterday to watch their Christmas parade and look at a craft show. I didn't buy anything but again it made me itch to get back in it!
Such fun! Debbie
I love the quote, Kathy. Thought inspiring.
You know, I have been very busy recently. Busy enough to send me to bed in the early evenings with a brain that has shut down. Knowing I need to take care of myself during this period of time. At the same time, praising the Lord for my many blessings. Thank you Heavenly Father for filling my stocking!!!
Kathy, I would love to be close enough to attend your Christmas Bazaar. It looks homey and warm, with wonderful people and no doubt amazing crafts (especially your lovely work).
Have a beautiful Sunday!
SANTA'S SUCH A SWEETIE!

Mildred, we had fun, the weather was ice box cold though! The turn out could have been better, but then that can be said for any event when one is trying to sell things!

Debbie, would you post pictures of items you make? I have seen some of the items your daughter made in older posts...
Mary, I have seemed to need a lot more rest lately too and this evening after we came home and unloaded from the bazaar we both fell asleep on the sofa..and we could have used you and your wares here at our bazaar!
