When The Moon Hits Your Eye....

Look~ The moon is resting in the branches of our tree! You know , when the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie "That's Amore'...."
Our dear friend James knows all about getting smacked in the eye by the moon, or should we say " amore' ". Congratulations James. We saw this handsome young man brought home from the hospital as a newborn baby, we watched him grow up and are so very happy to see him and meet his future wife..." When the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore' " ..... Laura! As Laura's future brother-in-law Randy says " everybody loves Laura", and yes, we do! " When the world seem to shine like you've had too much wine , that's amore' ".....
" When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie ~ that's amore' "..... Congratulations James & Laura !

I certainly wish the couple every good thing. He is handsome! Dean Martin had a wonderful voice. Our Olive Garden restaurant always has him singing in the background; it's one of the reasons I enjoy eating there and I like that song:D

Mildred, Daisy,Susie,Vickie,Carol, they and we thank you. They are so much fun and so appreciative of well-wishes and prayers.

Debbie, I think I have just begun to appreciate what Dean Martin contributed to our music and movies. For some reason his music came to mind when I thought about posting our congratulations to James and Laura.

Sandra( Thistle Cove Farm), I thought of you and your previous post about the blue moon when I was taking pictures of the moon through our trees. We are excited about James & Laura uniting as one, but not near as much as they are.

Julie, we had soooo much fun with them and our first meeting with Laura was one that left us wishing for more time with Laura ( and James of course).

A.Joy, you added even more to what I would say....good friends of long standing, the whole family and praise God for them!

Mary, that song came to mind right after spending a few hours with them...fun AND meaningful.

Kathleen, it appears it is going to be a very wonderful year for you and your family and I can't wait to hear all the wonderful stories and blessings you have to tell.I am so excited for you all.

Star, I HAVE to re-watch that movie. It did not seem to impress me years ago and yet I find myself constantly remembering aspects of the movie many times over...especially Cher smacking the male co-star on the face and saying "snap out of it!"

Alice, it is a good time of year to be engaged and also to meet family and friends of the future spouse, all to our benefit and blessing....as family friends we are so very thankful to be included in this time.

It is wonderful to hear these kinds of stories! Love is in the air!!
Frederick Buechner found Jesus when his father took his life. Buechner ran to a church and began his life as a Christian through a terrible situation. God met him, day after day and showed him a new way to live. It's not the common story of faith but one that was "worked out" over time. He is able to put into words the thoughts and feelings we all go through but don't say outloud. You will enjoy the books and get to know a wonderful man of God.

wonderful sweet post - falling in love is like a beautiful flu - all within inhaling distance get at least a touch of it!

Flower, I googled him and am sure I will be reading at least one of F. Buechner's books, thank-you.

LindaSue, I don't think I have ever heard of love being put into such words, and they are VERY aptly descriptive of love too..."a beautiful flu"
