Autumn Tea~ Tea Time Tuesday

It is Tea Time Tuesday where I feature a special tea cup, and often a tea setting. The weather around here is the kind of weather one describes as "the perfect Autumn day". I decided to take tea on my front porch. Along with a pot of Earl Grey tea, I had grapes picked from our own vines, apples from our trees, and Spiced Pumpkin Bread.*
This place on the porch is also where I love to spin up my wool into yarn.
Here is my teacup for this Autumn Tea Time. The yellow and light salmon roses are a good color for Autumn. Look at the gold around the rim and edges of the saucer and cup.
Royal Grafton, Fine Bone China~ Made in England
There is no given name for this pattern, just some numbers painted in gold under the foot of the cup.

A Autumn Tea is a welcomed thing.

Hi, Kathy! Hope you're having a good week!!! Beautiful, peaceful setting. SO nice! I am blown away by your spinning wheel for making yarn! I don't know that I've ever know anyone who actually does that. I'm no good with my hands (can't sew, crochet, knit...I'm pretty much good for nothing!), but it would be interesting to watch, fun to try.

What a beautiful place to spin and sip. I imagine that the sounds, aside from the tinkling of the spoon against china and the turning of the wheel must be all from nature. Lovely post!

Hi Kathy,
What an inviting post and lovely pictures of your cats. I am new to your blog so I will take to read for a while.
We had a blue cedar in the garden, it went down in a storm after 50 years. I see homespun yarn, dogs, a very nice and cosy atmosphere on your blog.
You will read me again when I have read and seen it all.
Thanks for stopping by to admire my grandma's teacup.
Have a happy day!

Hi Kathy, What a tranquil setting to spin your wool and sip tea. I imagine your kitties love winding around your legs as you work, perhaps napping in the warm sun. Such a pretty cup/saucer. Very cheerful. Wishing you a blessed day.

What a pretty teacup and tepot. I just love yellow and the patterns are really nice. Thank yo so much for your well wishes on my mom. She pulled through and went home yesterday and I am just so thankful that she did not break any bone at a fragile age of 92. And Yes, that is all Polish pottery in the china hutch and buffet.....Christine

This looks so serene and lovely; perhaps I'll fix a place for Dave and I to start having afternoon tea. He's not a tea drinker but the time together is precious.
