Thank-you son for your service. We're so thankful God chose to bring you safely back home to us and your 4 daughters. ~ " The willingness with which our young people are likely to serve in any war , no matter how justified , shall be directly proportional to how they perceive veterans of early wars were treated and appreciated by our nation." Thank you to your son, his crew, and all veterans. I grew up in the 60's and 70's and I'm so glad we, as a country, celebrate this day and honor our veterans.

I too, am thankful to our veterans. Thank your son for me. My husband went into the Navy in '69, the end of the Vietnam war. (He had just turned 21 and the draft was in at that time.) I was always proud of him and still am that he did his duty for our country.

God bless our military personnel and their families. God's blessings on America, even though mainstream America is drawing away from Him.

So very grateful for your son's service and all those who serve our country to keep us free. My SIL is a proud Marine, as was my Father-in-Law. So glad he was safely returned to all of his loved ones.

We have a favorite Marine, too, our son in law. We buried my brother in law an Army Veteran on the Marine Birthday. God bless your son with peace. We thank him for his service...

AMEN! Thanks to your son for serving and all service men and women.
Kathy, I gave up a friendship once because the woman said negative things about the military. "Why should they get anything? They volunteered." and so on. I said to her, "My nephews are in the Air Force and Army; you're talking about them." Her reply, "Well, they volunteered. Why should they get benefits after they get out?"
I left her house and never looked back.
