These little cuties are called "poults", that is what a baby turkey is called. They are Midget White Turkeys. They will not be as big as the turkeys we have raised in the past, but more about them in a later post. For now I am enjoying participating in

This is one of my favorite teacups and saucers. Of course I washed out the teacup after the turkeys perched in it. Turkeys can really leave a mess behind after they have had tea with you, but how often can a lady say she has had turkeys to tea and two of them fit into her teacup?

Are these poults hatched by the intrepid girls of Vicktory Farm? adorable and smaller turkeys are not a bad thing - tea cup turkeys - hmm not so useful but might be a tasty substitute for cornish hens!
LOL, and I wouldn't want baby ducks in our teacups though but those are cute poults!

This is a first! We have never had a participant have Turkey for tea!

Linda Sue, no, they weren't hatched by the girls at Vicktory Farm, but were in an order of turkeys the Vicks placed and allowed me to go in on..nice , because to order turkeys in the mail you usually have to buy at least 15. and I did not want 15/

Julie, yes. They are supposed to be a bit bigger than a chicken, hopefully to fit a market for freshly raised turkeys that the average family can manage on smaller properties, etc,

I'm a city girl, I can't tell the difference in a chicken and a turkey, but they sure are cute; especially in your pretty tea cup.
Love it! Do you raise Turkeys? My daughter is raising a lamb and heifer and we visit the turkeys when were at the farm. Sweet little birdies. You are on clever little lady and so enjoyed meeting you and your flock...lol

I had really convinced myself that was NOT your favorite tea cup, but then you said it was. I looked back and forth several times, just because the tea cup was sitting at a different spot.
