Where Do I Store My Teacups ?

I store my teacups and teapots in pretty boxes ...
... in my crafting room. It looks cluttered I know, but I took these pictures after a few hours of needle-felting wool balls. I set my needle-felting materials near the small table which has a stack of rubber foam to absorb the sharp needles I use for needle-felting the balls. Blizzard the cat is my constant companion when I am indoors and I frequently have to stop my crafting and remove him from my work surfaces . I placed the little table & chair in front of the small t.v. so I can watch the Hallmark channel Christmas specials I have recorded for my days in the craft room. ( Easy- viewing Christmas specials with happy endings make me happy , and inspire me when I craft.)

I sew, quilt, make rugs , scrapbook, fill photo albums , and write letters in this room. And I store my teacups here.

The view from my window in the crafting room. It is a fine foggy fall day, the ducks and geese are splashing in the pond, Blizzard is napping on the table .As soon as I brew myself  a cup of tea I'll remove Blizzard from the table and begin a new batch of felted wool balls.I'll show the rest of my crafting room in the next post.

I am joining these ladies for Tea-Time Tuesday :

I love your crafting room! And no worries about the clutter. It's a crafting room, they always have clutter. And you are so right about the Hallmark channel. I love those shows. Easy watching and happy endings. I don't get the hallmark channel anymore so I buy the dvd's when I'm out and about. You usually get five or more stories on one DVD. I think I'll put one in now! Much better than the news!

Love your crafting room! So cozy, and full of delightful things. And your view is so peaceful. I like the idea of Hallmark channel movies; most of what's on TV is not relaxing to watch.
And those kitties -- they sure love to be right on top (literally!) of a project, don't they?

Morning Kathy. Such a delightful place to enjoy crafting and being surrounded by your treasured tea pots/cups. Kitties have a way of being right in the middle of what we are doing! Love the view out your window. God bless your day.

What a terrific crafting room. I love those boxes too. I keep my office supplies in several that I have stacked near my computer. What would we do without our cat companions. Mine love my ironing board!

You have a wonderful crafting room, Kathy. I have my teacups stored in different places, not in pretty boxes like yours. You have the most lovely view out your window. I probably wouldn't get much accomplished because I would be day- dreaming out that window too much. I love Christmas movies too and Hallmark is the best channel for those. It's nice that you can enjoy them while doing your favourite things. Blizzard looks right at home in your room; so cute! Thanks for sharing and coming to tea and have a fabulous day.

Blessings,
Sandi

The room is perfect of its purpose. I like how you can store them and rotate the cups out to be used. I am presently cleaning out a store room and am creatively arranging old canning jars and other junk. I hope it to be cleaned up and looking better organized in there. Love the ducks.

The pretty boxes are a good idea. It will give me an excuse to buy them lol! A comfy and homy spot for crafting. Looks organized to me!
I was watching a Hallmark Christmas movie while I was folding laundry. Have you seen the Thomas Kinkade The Christmas Cottage? I liked it. Love your view.
It has got quite cold here in the East and I spent made a few little shelters for the neighborhood cats. I could not find hay and used pine and aspen bedding. Now I sit here listening to the wind hoping I didn't over fill the shelters. Have a blessed week.

Kathy, your room is charming and it's easily seen how you produce such loveliness. I admire your organizational skills; now I should "go thou and do likewise".

Fabulous room, Kathy, and it all works together to make a very cozy, pretty look. I can see why you do so much in that room! I used to love the Hallmark movies, too, but don't get that channel now. (Our cable provider has gotten very pricey; I'll have to check online, but oddly enough, I think one has to get Hallmark via cable to watch the shows online?!) Eager to see the rest of your craft room. And that's such a sweet outdoor view, too. I think you must live in paradise! :O) Blessings, Bess

I didn't know what a mess my crafting room was till I saw yours. Thank you, I needed that. I was glad to see that you were answering a question and that you hadn't lost your tea cups. :D Do you watch Christmas movies early too? I think I have nearly every Scrooge movie that was ever made, and I try and watch each one every winter before Christmas.
It has turned very cold here and being homebound calls for some good movies and lots of hot beverages.
And some hand work! :D

We store some teacups and teapots in a cupboard in our kitchen upstairs and some are downstairs that have been in our family for years.

Hi Kathy, I just found your lovely blog and have been going through many of your posts. Your blog feels so welcoming and homey that a person just wants to stay for a while. My husband and I just purchased a 1905 bungalow on an acre of land just outside of town. It was a real fixer-upper and we are busy as can be fixing it up and making it our retirement home. I am new to gardening and had my first this summer. Your blog is so full of everything country and so many things that I want to learn more about (I do believe that an old dog can learn new tricks). I love it here. I am your newest follower and would love to invite you to follow me back. I found you on Cindy's blog, "The Bee Lady from Hilltop".
Happy Thanksgiving.
Your new blogging sister,
Connie :)

It's a beautiful room with a place for everything and everything in its place, even the cat, who must be very well behaved to be allowed so near your lovely tea cups and teapots.
