Thursday In My Garden ~ Living Ornaments

This is what I saw today when I stepped out my front door onto the porch. My geese Ella & Fella resting under one of our Japanese Maple trees.
I never take the simple beauty around me for granted. My silly, frilly geese ~ the living ornaments of my glorious Autumn gardens.

Good morning Kathy ~ That first photo is fabulous! WOW!

Down here we do not have changing colors like you. We have palm trees and all kinds of tropicals and flowering plants that stay green and/or bloom all year long. It is still in the 80's during the days, 70's at night.

I enjoy seeing 'fall' through your eyes and thank you for sharing.

What a beautiful picture. I just have the dog. :D We do have a whole bunch of interesting but scary bugs this year. My granddaughter really enjoys those. Wishing you all the best in the coming wonderful seasons Kathy!

Oh, aren't they pretty. I'd be snapping photos of them, too. Love the colours.

Your frilly geese make a welcome sight amongst the coloured leaves.

I always take a second glance at the frilly birds. They look like ones with a bad hair day. When I see they both have the frills then I remember they are yours and they are made that way. Great photos.

What interesting geese with curly feathers!
Thank you for the visit and comment about the Space Needle photo. You have wonderful memories to cherish indeed regarding that great landmark in Seattle. I am glad the photo made you happy.
Your other post about the buntings made with the grandkids took me back to childhood memories of ironing leaves in wax paper . . . I'd forgotten all about that! It really is so easy to have fun and make pretty, artistic things with the simplest ingredients, the old-fashioned way.
