Tradition won out and we set up a small portion of the village on a coffee table we placed under living room windows. When I plugged in the lights of the village and the little lighted Christmas tree glowed as the village townspeople twirled around the tree I knew we'd made the right decision.
Yes, when our youngest grandson walked into the living room, spied the village and marveled at the miniature goings on , we knew we'd made the right decision !
May you and yours have a wonderful Christmas and take joy in the message of this season and for all time ~ " And she will bring forth a son , and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins." Matthew 1:21

What a lovely Christmas village and I'm glad you set it up, for your enjoyment and the enjoyment of others like this little one.
Have a wonderful day today and a great 2017 ~ FlowerLady
Merry Christmas to you and yours. The village is beautiful and I love the look of awe in your grandson's eyes. May the Lord richly bless you in the new year. Love, Mildred

It is beautiful! I can imagine the ooh's and ah's of the children!
Merry Christmas, Kathy, to you and yours. The Christmas village is beautiful!
Your village is lovely, Kathy! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.
So glad I did not miss this! The Christmas village is beautiful! Simply beautiful! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas.
There is a shop on historic Main Street not far from my house that is full of holiday villages like your lovely one here. It is such a fun place to visit. I get so wrapped up in each one, and sometimes would like to just step into one of them and stay for a while. Your photos look so charming, and is there anything more charming than the wide eyes of a child looking into one of the lighted houses? Thanks for sharing.
It looks like you are well on your way to settling into your new life. I have that to look forward to as well. Waiting on the Lord for those decisions. I love your Christmas village and would like to know what collection you have. I entertain the idea of starting one, but I'm getting lazy. Happy New Year, and I hope you and your whole family have a wonderful year in 2017.
Kathy, You did the right thing. This village is wonderful. Makes me smile. Loved seeing this. Pics of this village would sure make beautiful Christmas cards.
Blessings,
d
Your village is so pretty! I have an Easter village that I set up every year. I haven't visited many blogs in quite a while, but it's nice to read a post from you again. Happy New Year! :)
I love Christmas Villages and next year I want to find a real Christmas Village town. I'm looking into Frankenmuth, MI.
