Bus Stop Fun...and Memories

Babies surely do love babies, don't they? Here our two youngest grandchildren are cuddling. #6 granddaughter is just goo goo over our youngest grandson and shows it too!
Daniel and Breezy's Jack Russell terrier will NOT be left out of any cuddling going on in the house and also takes this opportunity to clean off any bits of a tasty breakfast left on baby grandsons' hands. ( note grandsons' grip on his toy WITH HIS TEETH!)
Meanwhile.....The view from our sons' home in the morning is beautiful. We are up early, 3 little girls have to catch the school bus. We have breakfast, and there is plenty of time to talk and play before the school bus comes.
The six older grandchildren walk down the long driveway to wait together for the bus. Three of the grandchildren who live here will catch the bus soon. The other 3 , visiting , will be left behind to await their cousins' return , so they can again resume building forts and riding bikes, and having fun together.
The six oldest grandchildren pose for a picture just before the bus comes.
They then mill about and play together for awhile.....
Ah! Here is the school bus! Bye, have a good day, we'll see you when you get home!
I think they already miss their cousins, but they'll be home before you know it!

What a wonderful entry; I love seeing the children gathered together, having fun, going about their business of the day. Children are such a blessing from God and you and Jim are SO blessed! I am SO happy for you all! God's blessings on you, yours and the work of your hands and heart.

Your family is beautiful. How special it must be to have the grandchildren all together. The picture of the view from your son's home looks like it belongs on a postcard. Every child should be so blessed to live in a place like that.

Thank-you all for your kind comments. We had a wonderful time together, and the cousins miss each other now that our daughter, her 4 children and I are back on our side of the mountain!

What lovely grandchildren. I love mine, they are all unique and yet a 'part of me'. The children waiting for the bus reminds me of my visit to Australia last year when my great nieces were waiting for the bus and some neighbours too. Such fun.
