She Doesn't Need Her Walker Anymore !

My husband's mother passed away this morning. Here, she is pictured as a tiny girl with her twin sister and big brother.
My husband's mother was married to  my husband's father for 60 years. Together they raised 6 children who all love Jesus and know Him as Savior.Together they have 15 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.All their grandchildren proclaim Jesus as Savior, many of their young great-grandchildren do too. They are and were richly blessed in all that matters, the knowledge their loved ones love Him, and they will be re-united in Heaven.Today my husband's mother does not need her walker. As one of her great-grandson's said tonight "Great-grandma has a brand new body and now she's running around and playing with God's kids!"

"But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ ( by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus, in order that in ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus." Ephesians 2:4-7

My your mother-in-law rest in peace and may eternal light shine on her! Where she must be she'll have no need of the walker because she'll have wings.

You've always said you had great inlaws. I'm so sorry for the pain this must cause your family. I think your daughter's family experienced the loss of a grandparent recently on her husband's side? What a wonderful testimony her life has been and her decisions far reaching. Keeping your family in my prayers this morning...

So sorry to hear of your Mother-in-law's passing. But just as you said, she will never need that walker again! She is in the presence of the Lord and Oh! what a wonderfully indescribable experience that must be! My prayers are with your husband, you and the family. I pray that you sense His peace that passes all understanding. Take care, Veronica

I hope my fantasy of heaven is close to reality - and my MIL can meet your MIL and chat. So much of my life is already in heaven - not sure why I am not there but evidently isn't my choice to make. Sad doesn't begin to express the loss of a loved one - I'm sorry that death has to be a part of a fallen world. LOVE the picture of her in fairy wings and walker - now that is living life.

Sweet post, Kathy - I rejoice with you all that your MIL is whole and healthy again forever! Death is not the winner when one is a child of God. Thinking and praying for your family... You know, that picture of her with the walker and her wings. How ironic - she does have her wings now!
