A Tisket , A Tasket...A Woolly Filled Basket

A tisket a tasket, a woolly filled basket of balls made of my felted Jacob Sheep wool. Miss Marple loves to catch and kill these little balls. Some of them have jingles inside which makes them all the more desirable prey.
And she catches a woolly ball!
And she kills the woolly ball!
Meow! Nap time with the woolly ball!

Oh, how pretty are the felted balls. One of these days, I'll...maybe...make felted balls for my kittens. Afraid the puppies would eat them now, must wait until they are older. They seem to eat Everything these days!

Those are beautiful Kathy. What sweet photos of Miss Marple. Often during the night, I'll hear our cats "bowling" with one of their sponge balls!!!

A whole basket of fun ...

The kids really like them too! Plus they're soft enough that I don't mind so much if they toss them around inside the house. =)

They are so colorful, they look like marbles. They are one of the best ideas for cat toys I have ever seen. I can see why your cat is having so much fun with them. You are very creative.

I have seen felted soap in pictures, but never felted balls. I am a learnin'. :)

Don't you just love cats? Mine are all barn cats, but delightful all the same.

I have to tell you, Mr. Orange Tom has taught a couple more kittens to watch for the cats inside the bumper of the Ford truck. I saw them lined up yesterday. Tails swishing in anticipation of catching one of those bumper cats!!

Very cute. We are cat people...we have three. Is she named after the Agatha Christie character?

Thistle Cove,I wonder if they would be O.K. for pups, they are pretty tight, almost like tennis balls . They could of course be swallowed in one big gulp by your big pup. The cats very much like them.

Mildred,I am glad you like them. That is funny, hearing your cats bowling at night. I have always contended that cats throw parties in our homes after we go to bed, just look at the evidence the next morning!

JC,my cat thinks so, and so does my baby grandson.Ask A.Joy. Plus, you can throw them at the cat when the cat is on the counter eating your dinner, and they won't hurt the cat or break anything.

Leslie, thank-you. How is Pumpkin?

Mary, ( annies goat hill ) that is so funny. I have never seen cats watch bumpers like yours do. And I have seen felted soaps. It is very easy to do, wanna learn?

Susie, I think so too, and she is very good at vermin control and cuddling.( though not cuddling vermin)

VikkiG.We have 3 cats too, and yes, she is named after Agatha Christies Miss Marple, you know, gray and snoopy.

Deanna,I found out how to make them and am having fun with them. I have dreamed up all sorts of variations for them. And they look nice just sitting in a basket in the living room too.

Jennifer, my cat Miss Marple goes after all my woolly creations, so I am hoping these balls will help to keep her paws off my wee little sheep.
