It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas !

 We've been decorating for Christmas.
We're not finished, and I am already exhausted. But it is a happy kind of exhaustion, a Christmas festive kind of exhaustion.
We still have to put the tree-topper on , after I finish making it.
We only put a few ornaments on the tree this year , and I left a lot of decorations in their boxes in the closet under the stairs. In spite of using far less decorations, and deciding not to put lights up around the house outside, we still seem to have Christmas decorations everywhere.

This week I'll address, write in, and send out Christmas cards & presents and then the baking begins . It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas !

I think what you've done for Christmas looks lovely. I'm not doing as much this year as in years past. I just put up a small tree in liv. rm. and a tiny one in the bedroom, still have the nativity to set up along with the heavenly host collection.

I'll be doing some Christmas baking too.

May your holidays be filled with much love, joy and peace.

Even so, Kathy, your decorations fill your home with love. Like Rainey, I'm not decorating...a couple of wreaths at the gate and barn, poinsettia's on the table and a small crèche or two. My sister packed my Christmas decorations, we'd hoped I would be moved by now, and I'm not unpacking them. I'm staying home this Christmas, spending it on the view just in case this is my last Christmas.
Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Kathy,
Everything looks beautiful! I guess lots of people are in a pared back mode this year, I'm also keeping it very simple, just one little tree, that's all, but sometimes simple is enough :-)
Here's wishing you and yours a very merry Christmas indeed!
Teresa,
Sugar, spice and whatever's nice

Hello Kathy,
Your tree is so beautiful! Your home looks very festive. I know the holiday exhaustion you speak of...lol. We too have put up much less decorations this year. But it still looks so nice.
Wishing you a lovely holiday season and lots of family and friends time.
Hugs,
Terri

Hi Kathy,
Your home is looking very beautiful and a lot like Christmas! I am also not putting out as many decorations this year. It is so much work. Love your pretty Christmas table Centre piece. Enjoy the season! Karen

Oops! I meant, Kathy, of course. I'm sorry I am doing a lot of blog hopping tonight, and I typed the wrong name. My brain must be getting tired. :)

Everything looks so festive and pretty. Putting up less lights seems a popular decision this year. I'm getting more and more into actually 'simplifying'. :D
Happy Christmas!

Very pretty Kathy. It's hard to find that balance between doing enough and not too much. I go to all the work for the sake of my children, but then I'm always glad I did, because I enjoy it so much too. Want to get my cards done by this weekend.
How special that you have the new grand baby this Christmas, too!

Very pretty! I have decorated in fits and starts and have been baking for my daughters annual cookie swap. I'd like to make some coconut bread but time will tell. A general sense of contentment has lead me to cut back on a lot of things this year ...less has seems like more than enough. Angels to you!
