In June 2016 we sold Cedar Pond and moved over the mountains and far away. We now live in Deer Park , WA where the weather is a bit more extreme than Cedar Pond's and in spite of the challenges we're rejoicing in life in our new home with field and forest just outside our back door. God is so good to us !

Good Morning Kathy - we don't have the bandwidth to download music but my imagination going wild. This week, above all weeks, is a time for reflection and study.
BTW, I do like what you've done to your blog...as soon as I figure it out, I want to do the same. I enjoy going "backwards" and reading entries. Ever so much better than the quick little "comment" section on my blog...changes coming -smile-.
Kathy - thanks for your encouragement about my in-laws. You're right - family is so important. My husband and I have been blessed to have our parents near so that we can care for them as they grow older. God will provide the means and the answers to all our questions about how to take care of them in the coming months. Thanks! Have a wonderful Easter!
Thank-you Sandra. I posted a song written and sung by one of my favorite musician/singers, Michael Card. This song is about Judas' betrayal of Jesus. And yes, I have two little books I will be using for some quiet reflection this weekend, in addition to scripture ...one is A VIOLENT GRACE by....Michael Card, contemplations on the cross....
Sand Flat Farm, your parents are blessed to have you too! I know you will also be thinking constantly about your son taking off for Britain too. Excited and concerned and praying without ceasing!
Beautiful song!
Farm Chick Paula, it is! And Michael Card had written and sung so very many songs straight out of scripture that speak truth in a way that moves me dearly...
Thank you mom and dad for putting up with me for soooo long haha.
Wonderful song, Kathy. Thank you for sharing that.
Hi Kathy - was finally able to hear this song...heart breaking and oh how true! Many thanks.
