In June 2016 we sold Cedar Pond and moved over the mountains and far away. We now live in Deer Park , WA where the weather is a bit more extreme than Cedar Pond's and in spite of the challenges we're rejoicing in life in our new home with field and forest just outside our back door. God is so good to us !

THat first photo made me fall in love w/ that lamb! Aww....!
What a precious face; so very sweet and she looks very curious!
Thank you Kathy for your thoughts and prayers and the fun card this morning. The cat reminded me so much of Ditto!
I hope you are continuing to improve. I remember you and your family in prayer and I hope you have a nice weekend.
Too sweet!
How SWEET!
So, as proud Poppa, was Goth there helping out with the LaMaze breathing during the birth, and is he running around passing out cigars to all the other rams this morning? ha ha!
Congratulations on your new spotted lamb, Kathy. What a precious gift. :)
Oh, Kathy, that lamb is precious. You know, if I keep coming here (and I am not going to stop), I may get hooked into sheep for wool too. I will then need to figure out how to sleep 2 hours a day and survive. :) I never realized how long a ram's horns do get. I am learning!
What a beautiful lamb, she is just precious!
Oh that baby is just adorable...congratulations on your new spotty.
a great big AWWWWWW from Texas to you - beautiful new baby and thrilled that you are well enough to go out and tend to your next generation of spotted wool makers.
She is so cute Kathy. The first of many beauties to come. I'm so glad you felt good enough to get out there and enjoy her and her Mama.
Shellmo, the first lamb of the new year is always special, and this one looks to be a keeper too.
Mildred, thank-you. Hope you, John, and your furry family are doing well this weekend too!
Amy and Daisy, she is sweet, and no Daisy, Goth was not passing out cigars, but he wouldn't mind the extra alfalfa they are getting...
Mary, there are dairy sheep.....
Shiloh Prairie, thank-you!
Noble Pig, I like that term " Spotty" and just might use it!
Linda Sue, I like your term too, " wool makers " and might use it. And yes,Shadow Mountain Jacobs I am feeling much better , but as my meds wear off I realize they are the reason I am feeling so well, so I need to remind myself to take it easy.
Your lamb is precious and her fleece looks lovely! How many ewes do you have bred this year?
Prayers for safe delivery of lambs this year; what a great beginning!
