~I am getting ready for the bazaar this weekend and there is a lot to do.~
~Aren't the colors and textures here just lovely ? Of course I am a bit biased about them. I wove the nubby fabric with the shell buttons on it from some of my homespun Jacob wool, and some funky yarns I picked up here and there. I finally decided after months of thinking about the fabric, just what I was going to do with it. (Above ) Here I have assembled various things I have collected over the months and years..and I will use my handwoven fabric, along with some Chinese fabric I just love, and turquoise shell buttons to make....
In June 2016 we sold Cedar Pond and moved over the mountains and far away. We now live in Deer Park , WA where the weather is a bit more extreme than Cedar Pond's and in spite of the challenges we're rejoicing in life in our new home with field and forest just outside our back door. God is so good to us !

Oh Kathy, I love the little purses. What beautiful yarn color combinations and you know which fabric I like the best - butterflies, of course. Miss Marple looks like a fine supervisor - sleeps until all the work is complete! Thank you for directing me to your daughter's blog - I love it too. Have fun at the bazaar.
I love the jewel tone turquoise fabric and the beads too! These purses are quite beautiful, Kathy. Good luck at the bazaar!
Those are beautiful and trendy!!
I am absolutely in love with those little purses. (Wish I could carry one, but I'm afraid they wouldn't hold a tenth of the unnecessary stuff I carry in my purse.)
Are you going to be selling them? If so, do you mind my asking about the price?
Those purses are so exquisitely beautiful, I heard myself saying, "Omigosh!"
You have exquisite, exquisite, exquisite taste.
Is there anything you can't do?!
Good luck at the bazaar.
You're not going to believe this, but do you know what the word verification is for this comment? It's "super"! It couldn't be more appropriate!
Mildred, I thought of you as soon as I pulled the butterfly fabric out ! I laughed about your comment on supervising !
Daisy, there IS something about turquoise, isn't there ? Almost everyone looks good in it, and the color is an eye catcher every time.
Thank-you Wilson Clan and Pamela. I hope there are people at the bazaar who love the little purses too.
Ha-ha, Pamela, my purse has to hold a lot of unnecessary stuff too.Yes, I am selling them and my price for each little unique purse is $25.00. I hope that is a good deal for anyone who appreciates home weaving, spinning and crafting...I think it is a deal !
Thank-you Jo !And you would be surprised at how many times I have had to type in a verification word for blogs that is so appropriate for the topic. And yes, there are loads of things I can't do..I could not do justice to YOUR job, or my Hubby's secretary's job, and I still can't figure out how to make the dang links on my blog posts work!( I haven't forgotten about the sheep I am sending you, after the bazaar, before our Thanksgiving !)
Absolutely beautiful and what a fantastic price! Good luck at the bazaar and have a great time!
The purse is beautiful. I love the color and the fabric! You are so talented. And lucky for you have such a lovely companion!
Love those purses! Especially the first one.
The fabrics and colors are so lush and would look wonderful with all kinds of outfits. I'm sure the bazaar was blessed by your purse craft. Went to a fabric store today to try to find something with which to recover breakfast room chair seat - came home without fabric - simply too many choices! I'll have to take someone else along next time and just say I like one, two ,three and let them choose!
I can't wait to hear about your weekend. I have an award to pass along to you at my post entitled "Thank You." I have enjoyed meeting you and have appreciated your support and friendship so much. Thanks!
Thank-you all so very much for the kind response to my little purses. I did sell them....and have an order for a few more !I also have ideas for some.....Thank-you Mildred ! I will be visiting blogs again tonight (late) as I am getting caught up on things that have been neglected around here while I have been here and there and everywhere but home the last few weeks !
